The expansion of Joliet Junior College is scheduled to begin this coming January.  JJC is planning on a six story building of the city center campus.  Even though there is still some planning to do, the project continues to progress.

According to the JJC President, Debra Daniels, “We’re starting the core and shell, and what that basically means is they’re putting the walls up. And we’re going to start that in January.  Lots of things are going on behind the scenes. We’re designing it, deciding what’s going to go into it, where the walls are going, what needs there are for the facility.”
